Zhou Xiaohu
born 1960, in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China; lives and works in Shanghai, China
Zhou Xiaohu’s videos and mixed-media animations challenge conventional beliefs and question perception by blurring the distinction between reality and fiction. Zhou was trained as an oil painter at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in Chongqing, earning his BA in 1989.
