Yun-Fei Ji

Yun-Fei Ji utilizes structures and symbols of folkloric tradition to illuminate socio-political issues within the contemporary Chinese society. His paintings frequently function as metaphorical critiques of oppressive power structures. The artist received a BFA from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, and an MFA from the University of Arkansas in the United States.
