Tromarama is an Indonesian collective comprising Febie Babyrose, Herbert Hans, and Ruddy Hatumena. The three artists have backgrounds in design and a deep interest in urban culture and music. Tromarama is known for its low-tech animation and labor-intensive stop-motion techniques. Their early work primarily consisted of video installations that captured the rhythmic atmospheres of indie, jazz, and thrash metal music. More recently their focus has shifted to encompass social concerns relating to the economic boom and rapid urbanization occurring throughout Indonesia.
