Tabaimo
born 1975, in Hyōgo, Japan; lives and works in Nagano, Japan
Tabaimo’s large-scale video installations are inspired by traditional Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints, manga and anime. Her works explore contemporary issues that lie underneath the surface in Japanese society. Tabaimo graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design in 1999.
