Song Dong
born 1966, in Beijing, China; lives and works in Beijing, China
Since the early 1990s, Song Dong has been considered one of the leading conceptual artists from China. His artistic practice comprises photography, installation, video, and performance art and often examines ephemeral existence and the passage of time through the lens of his own experiences. Song earned a BFA from Capital Normal University in Beijing in 1989.
