Kakyoung Lee
born 1975, in Daegu, Korea; lives and works in New York City, United States
Kakyoung Lee received a BFA and an MFA in printmaking from Hongik University in Seoul, Korea in 1999 and an MFA in printmaking from SUNY Purchase, New York, in 2003. Through the printmaking process, Lee creates meticulously fabricated stop-action animations that ruminate on the mundane rituals of daily life.
