Christine Ay Tjoe
born 1973, in Bandung, Indonesia; lives and works in Bandung, Indonesia
Christine Ay Tjoe studied printmaking and graphic art at the Bandung Institute of Technology and graduated in 1997. The artist is best known for her psychologically charged ruminations on the human condition. Her practice encompasses painting, works on paper, sculptures, and site-specific installations; her linear aesthetic remains central to the structure of her compositions across mediums.
