Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group is an artist collective of six individuals whose practice responds to contemporary social issues with an activist message. Its members include Ellie, Okada Masataka, Inaoka Motomu, Ushiro Ryūta, Mizuno Toshinori, and Hayashi Yasutaka. Multidisciplinary in its approach, the collective primarily focuses on video, installations, and performance, often using references from popular youth culture. Founded in Tokyo as Chim↑Pom , the collective changed its name to Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group in April 2022.
