Chan Chao
born 1966, in Kalemyo, Burma; lives and works in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States
Chan Chao is a Burmese artist who immigrated to the United States with his family in 1978. He studied photography at the University of Maryland and returned to Myanmar at the age of thirty to create one of his best-known series Burma: Something Went Wrong. The artist teaches photography at George Washington University.
